Our Autumn poem
Well, we took our leaves, twigs and all the words we could think of to help us remember what it felt like outside. We went inside and wrote them all on a huge sheet of paper. We wrote each word on a big leaf and arranged the leaves on our tree to create our very own poem. This is our poem:
It's Autumn Time
Cool, crisp air;
breath in a white cloud
crunchy carpet of leaves
Leaves of green, gold, yellow,
brown, orange and red
Children laughing, running
to the school bus
Birds and clouds in the sky,
alone or together
Spicey sweet cinnamon dirt
purple flowers and shapes
wet grass that sticks to your feet
Cat's meow
Don't the leaves smell good?
